The agreement between you and MMS Art Studio. We've kept it as plain-language as possible while still covering the essentials.

By accessing or using mmsartstudio.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, students, parents/guardians, instructors, and community members who access the Service.
You must be at least 14 years old to enroll as a student. We do not currently accept students under 14 years of age.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Test classes ($50 for 1 hour, or $40 for an optional 30-minute session) are non-refundable under any circumstances once delivered. The test class is a paid sample of instruction; if you decide not to continue, you are free to walk away with no further obligation, but the test fee will not be refunded.
Eligibility: We currently accept students aged 14 and above. We do not enroll students under 14 at this time.
Ongoing lesson packages and monthly subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled. You may cancel at any time via the Student Portal.
Lessons may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be forfeited at the instructor's discretion and are non-refundable.
If MMS Art Studio cancels a lesson, you will receive a credit toward a future lesson or a full refund for that session.
Payments are processed via Stripe. By submitting payment information, you authorize MMS Art Studio to charge the payment method for the agreed amount.
All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes will be added at checkout where required by law.
In the event of a chargeback or failed payment, we reserve the right to suspend lessons until the balance is resolved.
Test classes are NON-REFUNDABLE. If, after taking a test class, you decide the school is not for you — for any reason, including dissatisfaction with the instructor, format, or pacing — no refund will be issued for the test class fee.
Monthly subscription refunds: A pro-rated refund is available ONLY in the case where a student is forced to terminate their subscription mid-cycle AND provides at least 24 hours of prior written notice. In that case, we will refund the value of the remaining un-attended lessons in the current billing month.
Lessons already delivered, lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, and any portion of a billing cycle for which timely notice was not given are non-refundable.
Notice must be sent in writing (email or via the Student Portal) and clearly state your intention to terminate. Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
You agree not to: (a) harass, abuse, or harm another user, instructor, or staff member; (b) record any lesson without explicit consent from all participants; (c) share your account credentials; (d) attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service; (e) upload viruses, malware, or any unlawful content.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
All content delivered through the Service — videos, sheet music, exercises, recordings, courseware, software, branding, and the underlying platform — is owned by MMS Art Studio or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the content solely for your own learning. You may not redistribute, resell, or publicly perform/display the content without our written permission.
Recordings of lessons, where consented, remain the joint property of the student and instructor. Both parties must agree before public release.
When you submit assignments, recordings, performances, comments, or community posts (collectively "User Content"), you retain ownership but grant MMS Art Studio a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.
You are solely responsible for User Content you submit. You represent that you have all necessary rights to share it.
Lessons may be recorded only with explicit acknowledgment from every participant. Recordings of minors require parental/guardian consent.
For students under 13, a parent or guardian must be present (in the room or on camera) during lessons. Additional safeguarding details are described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service integrates third-party platforms including but not limited to Stripe (payments), Daily.co (video), Resend (email), and Google authentication. Your use of those platforms is subject to their respective terms.
We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party content or services.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
We do not guarantee specific outcomes such as career success, audition results, or musical proficiency, though our instructors are dedicated to your progress.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MMS Art Studio, its officers, employees, and instructors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for lessons in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold MMS Art Studio harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your User Content.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms or for conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to other users, the Service, or third parties.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a banner on the Service. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.
